I’d been coveting this scent since first visiting the Olympia Farmer’s Market and the Pure Luxe booth there. My favorite thing about this fragrance is the way that it changes through the day; it goes on sweet and earthy and settles into a delicate spice that lingers without being pungent. I’ve had friends and strangers ask about it, often thinking it is Le Labo or Bois de Balincort: two fragrances with a similarly spicy undernote that seem to be everywhere I turn these days. Unlike these scents, No. 8 stays around without hitting everyone else around you in the face. It’s like your favorite cashmere sweater or a good hair day; it never fails to uplift and does so elegantly. It wears a little differently on everyone but compliments all who wear it; its a classic, signature scent that slips on easily and follows you gently throughout your day!
